Overview
About Me
I’m Leah I’m 21, from Québec, and I’m in the middle of figuring myself out — by moving, meeting, and sometimes just sitting still.
I’ve worked in the helping field since I was old enough to understand pain — in youth protection, in prisons, in places where people are cracked open. I’ve never been afraid of the dark in others, because I’ve had to face mine too.
I train in martial arts, I travel solo, I’ve made hard choices young. I don’t carry a map — just a compass that points toward truth, freedom, and people who are unapologetically themselves.
If you’re grounded, kind, and open to letting someone like me into your space for a few days, I’ll respect that deeply.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m looking for moments of trust, exchange, and maybe even friendship.
I like staying with locals or seasoned travelers who enjoy sharing little pieces of their world, even if it’s just a walk, a sunset, or a meal together

Music, Movies, and Books
Books – I read mostly dark romance and true stories. The kind of books that mess you up emotionally — toxic love, trauma, survival, obsession, healing… I like it when it hurts a little.
Music – Depends on the mood. French rap, reggaeton, soft R&B, or a sad song that hits when you’re alone in a hostel kitchen. If it makes me feel something, I’m in.
Movies – Give me action, drama, or a love story with tension. I’m not into anything too artsy or slow. I want to feel adrenaline, intensity, or heartbreak — nothing lukewarm
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did my first solo trip at 16 — and I went big: three months in Colombia.
I barely spoke Spanish, I had no real plan, and I just went to meet a friend over there… and somehow ended up staying the whole summer.
I got sunburnt, I got lost, I danced a lot, ate weird stuff, trusted random people, and honestly? It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
That trip messed me up in the best way — now I can’t stop moving.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach: a bit of French if you’re curious — words, slang, culture. Or how to swear like a real Québécoise 😄
I want to learn: about where you grew up, how you see the world, and maybe how to cook something typical from your country. I love random knowledge.
I can share: stories from home and from the road. A good sense of humour. A chill presence. And if we vibe, maybe a bottle of something cold and a real conversation.

✧ Respect, autonomy, and a tidy guest
✧ And if you’re into deep conversations, I’m your girl — but I also respect silence
