Hey ! I'm Léa and love traveling around the world, to discover new culture, new people and make some new friends. Thanks to my parents, I've been living and growing in different countries between Italy, Algeria or Poland and my home land France ! I'm initially from the second biggest city in France which is Lyon where I've lived for 2 years. Lyon is famous for its cook and the French gastronomy. It's actually the capital of the gastronomy. So if you like French, refined and good food, that is a place for you !
Since September I live in the north of France, Lille, a city famed in one hand for its rainy weather, but on the other one for its good beer and warmth people ! You'll never be upset to come to Lille except if you're a "rain hater". (Fortunately, it doesn't rain everyday :)) )
There, I'm going to university, studying sociology and journalism !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When we first think about CouchSurfing, it is about hosting and being host for free by a kind person. One of the biggest thing that push me on Couch Surfing is to discover new people and new culture, and I think that sharing time with people from different horizon can only be rewarding for all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I first think about one amazing thing I've done, comes up my exchange year in Sweden in 2014/2015. I've lived a year abroad, with a Swedish family, in a Swedish school and of course surrounded by the Swedish culture. I think that I've made one of the greatest choice to go there. I have gained a second family and a second home from a country I knew nothing about before going there.

I play guitar since the age of 12, so it would be funny to teach you some chords or play some music with you ! We could do a jam !
