About Me

Heya, we’re two friends studying Psychology in a small town in the north of Germany. After 3 years of living here (which we love) we do feel the urge to get out and discover new things again. I (Lea) am gonna stay in Canada for two months and do some travelling and woofing, whereas Melanie is staying on Vancouver Island for a whole semester. Before we go our separate ways we want to see Vancouver and have a look around BC and its National Parks. If you’ve got any recommendations, we’re happy to know!
Both of us are open minded, tidy and friendly girls in our twenties :) we’re happy to hang out and get to know people or just spend time by ourselves, if you’re busy. We like being active and in nature, sports, deep conversations, going to bars or having a nice drink at the harbour, comedy, concerts, going to the beach, growing vegetables, travelling obviously, being creative, sustainability, sudoku, books… we also recently joined the local boxing club.
We (or I) don’t have many references since this only my second time couchsurfing. I’ve done lot‘s of woofing/helpx/workaway though, so if you‘d like I can send you some reviews.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We‘re not just interested in tourist sights, we’d also like to get to know people, their cities and views on life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did a ceremony in South Korea in some sort of religious community, which was probably more strange than amazing, but certainly exciting. I‘m not quite sure if I entered a cult haha
