Interessen

Traveling is like an addiction to me. I'm fascinated by the differences of culture, language and ideologies and even more stunned by the many things we have in common.
An important aspect for choosing my travel destination is nature, its flora and fauna: I love birding, camping and hiking.
Also, I'll never come home from a trip without having used up all my camera memory cards. I think it's amazing how you can save memories with a camera, telling stories with just a picture of a single moment.
In the last couple of years I have spent some months in New Zealand, Costa Rica, Chile and Scotland. I always lived with locals and I'm convinced that this is the best way to experience a country and it's way of life. I'm so thankful for the time everybody spent on showing me their country, customs, cuisine and favorite places that I'd be glad to do the same for any visitor who wants to get to know my place! :)
