ABOUT ME

Hello world!:) I'm a friendly, open minded and uncomplicated German girl, that enjoys travelling not only to get to know new places, but even more to get to know new people with different cultural backgrounds. I love doing sports, hanging out with friends, discovering new places and enjoying what the world has in store for me. I've been to some places and heard more and more of couchsurfing.

I guess all of us somehow are experienced in couchsurfing, and if it was only for friends staying over when coming to visit. I've not had so many "foreigners" staying over yet, but am happy to be part of this community and give back what I personally already was lucky enough to experience myself in different countries abroad.

Interests

I'm a cultural studies student in Mannheim, because different cultures have always fascinated me. My major is Philosophy, and I'm quite passionate about talking to people about their values and understanding of life. Besides enjoying to challenge my mind, I love ot do sports regularly (athletics is my favourite one) and I would die for ice-cream!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I first entered couchsurfing.com, I was just about to leave my flat shared with 10 mexicans in Guadalajara, Mexico. I had spent 5 months living with them and would spend another 6 weeks travelling Latin America without having a certain route in my mind. The experience of both making such close friends after such a short time and the confidence, that even if I was about to leave for something new I would for sure have a place to come back everytime - both these feelings are something that for me make travelling something incomparably beautiful.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great company! ;) No seriously, I'm very curious to get to know different people with different values and love to hear their stories without judging. I think life is an endless dialogue, and am sure, that each new encounter is an enrichment to one's own way of life.
