About Me

ABOUT ME

My name is Lea, I am 21 years old and I am from the south of Germany. Since september 20I3 I am studying Politics, Administration & International Relations at beautiful Lake Constance. I grew up in a little village near Stuttgart. I have an older brother, who is also studying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After school I lived in Peru for 6 month and worked as a volunteer in a school for disabled children in Lima. Back then I tried couchsurfing for the first time and it was a really cool experience because I got to know new people. I made some crazy experiences and had the oppurtunity to get to know places, which I wouldn't have seen without Couchsurfing. I am really thankful for the experiences I made in Peru.

Interests

I like meeting friends, reading, listening to music, swimming, cycling and go to the cinema. Also I love visiting new countries and get to know foreign cultures and new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Casper, Adele, Madsen, Tomte, The Kooks...
Books: The Book Thief, Harry Potter; The Millenium Trilogie

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most impressive things I have ever seen was Machu Picchu. I visited Cusco in october with some friends and we made a trip to Machu Picchu. It was awesome!!! It is an undescribable feeling standing there and watching the sunrise over the ruines of Machu Picchu. I can only recommend everyone to visit this magnificent place once in life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning new languages because its awesome if you can speak with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. It is much easier to travel in a country and to explore it if you are able to speak the language!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and bake, and most of my friends say that I am quiet good it at ;) So if you want to try some typical german food I will prepare it for you. I also love to hear interesting traveller stories and I also like to tell about my one travel experiences, especially about my time in Peru and Bolivia.

Countries I’ve Visited
