About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I initially joined so I could meet people in a new country and it turned out that I liked everyone who I met through it. There are few other ways to just meet new people who could possibly become your friends. Very few ways to have people recommend you as a person, not just as an employee. I love everything that this thing stands for!

I was trying to become a professional musician and I thought this community would really help in my accomplishing that.

Interests

I love writing, think I do it everyday, I enjoy formulating immaterial things into semi-material things, I enjoy exploring ideas, testing, putting into action, implementing. If it can help someone, even better! I love startups, entrepreneurship is fun even if I haven't figured out the making money part yet :D

Music, Movies, and Books

So much however I think my taste, across the board, always goes with an admiration and addiction to truthfulness. Artists who are willing and able to make themselves so honestly open and naked to the judgmental public simply inspire me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The bullet train in Japan. Ghent festival. Snow in sunny Spain. Cry in the middle of a presentation about the universe at the planetarium at the end of my first week in NYC. MACHUPICCHU!!! Whoa. Solo travel and relying on the kindness of strangers. Hitchhiking in the Netherlands. Last minute trip to Berlin on a shoestring budget with no plan, no reservations, just couchsurfing hangouts and events to help guide the weekend.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I cook well at times, I love to make people laugh and I'm always down to go out :)
