Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been bopping around quite frequently these past four years moving between Asheville NC, Santa Fe NM, Cincinnati OH, Chicago, Wisconsin, Boston, and Georgia.

Travelling would undoubtedly be easier with couch surfing and would save me some money.

I also really enjoy the ability to connect with locals when travelling. My favorite couple of days in Nicaragua was staying with a local Nicaraguan family who we met on the beach that day. I learned more about Nicaragua in those 3 days then I had staying at any hostel the subsequent 3 weeks.

Also, I love sharing experiences!

Interests

farming/gardening, running on trails, revelling in the beautiful outdoors, bonfires, finding adventures, cooking, dancing (contra, swing, salsa), learning Spanish, connecting with people wherever I go.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a very easy-going attitude and try to make my stay pleasant for the host by being considerate of their space and things. I can offer good conversation and am more than willing to help cook or work in a garden as a small gesture of my gratitude for hosting me.
