Overview
About Me
I am an open-minded, travel loving, most of the time quite talkative 29 year old from Germany.
I have lived and worked in the UK and Switzerland. Then discovered New Zealand on a working holiday which was my greatest and happiest adventure so far. I did another working holiday in Canada for a few months before going back home for a few years. Pretty much exactly 6 years later I have started my big dream of a world trip in February 2025 with another working holiday visa in Australia. I am adventurous and love to see new places and meet new people.
I'm appreciative of deeper great connections with locals and travellers.
I love photography, nature in general, the forest and the beach!
I am open-minded to try new things and get really excited about beautiful views, nice pictures and lately marine life (how can you not in Australia).
My absolute dream country so far is definitely New Zealand!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea/opportunity of living with and meeting locals/new people which means you can get to know different personalities, lifestyles, cultures. Maybe those people can become friends or make an impact on your life in some way. I stayed with someone on couchsurfing once who totally inspired me with his way of living and thinking, right in the middle of nature in the middle of nowhere, living a simple life. But even if it's not that deep, you can hopefully still leave with a full heart and a new experience.
I've lived and shared houses or bedrooms quite a lot and in different countries.
Interests
Traveling obviously. Also general stuff like music. I started to teach myself some songs on the piano. But nothing I am doing professionaly or perfectly yet.
I like taking pictures and always aim for the perfect ones, but have yet to get the passion back that I used to have. Wouldn't call myself a professional.
I love to be in the forest/woods/bush however you want to call it. Green everywhere, and fresh air.
I generally don’t like (big) cities, but I don‘t mind discovering them too.
I would consider New Zealand as my absolute dream country so far. I’m totally in love with it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are quite a few I think. I‘m happy to share my stories in person with you :)
But for example I hiked and travelled along the south west coast path in england alone for 2-3 weeks which was an absolute amazing experience, and which I totally would and will do again. Can only recommend this 😍
I would consider hiking the Tongariro Crossing in New Zealand also as an amazing thing and it was absolutely stunning besides!
Overall my whole experience in New Zealand is something I will always cherish in my heart and soul ❤️
Teach, Learn, Share
If you like I can teach you some German and how to be brave, to just do your thing.🤓🤗 Sometimes I write inspiring life lesson texts by myself. But honestly it's been quite some time. These last years back home really kinda changed and settled me from a young solo traveling girl trying to figure out the world to a more mature women with her partner, who's not so much in her head anymore. But I’m always happy to talk about the sense of life 🙂
