Hello I'm Leah from Nottingham in the UK. I am an artist, musician and community arts practitioner

I love to travel when I can exploring new places and cultures around the world. I love nature, going on hikes, walks, being by the sea. I love animals, spending my time riding my horse, exploring the peak district in nearby Derbyshire, i like to do yoga and I'm open to trying new activities. I have travelled a lot with my music, getting to perform across the UK, Ireland and Europe and I've also got to play lots of fun festivals!

I am new to couch surfing . As a traveller I am very happy exploring by myself but always appreciate if hosts want to hang out, show me around or share some food. I am pretty chilled.

At home, I live with my partner. We love going on adventures in my van and trying new dishes! I love food, and I'm a pescatarian.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I have been awarded a travelling scholarship (fellowship) by the Roosevelt foundation here in Nottingham.
I am leaving for America at the end of September 2023.
I will be travelling across the states, hoping to meet some great new people, maybe making some new friends along the way, seeing some beautiful places and immersing myself in new culture. I'd be also very happy to pay a gig at your home!

As part of my research, I hope to meet with music organisations, music communities, individuals and artists across the states, to research into how artists can better support their own communities, and how artists and communities help to develop each other, and how this in-turn helps communities. In turn I also hope to develop my own skills by meeting with artists for conversation and possible collaboration.
