Overview
About Me
I'm an Australian living in Reims (France) for my university studies, and attempting to travel the world in between classes. I'm passionate about the environment, being outside, having adventures, eating good food, meeting new people and experiencing new things. I love surfing, reading, live music, travelling, and having really deep conversations over a drink or many. I'm new to couch surfing and am super keen to use it to meet people throughout my travels in Europe! I have a lot of floor space in my bedroom in Reims, so if people have bedding for themselves I can provide floor space, heating, a kitchen and a good chat!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've only just joined (hence the lack of references) but I'm super excited to use this as a way of travelling cheaply, hopefully sustainably, but mostly as a way of travelling and making real connections with people and places rather than just taking a photo, doing the main tourist things, and then moving on. I think this app/site is one of the coolest aspects of our crazy, globalised, connected world and I reckon it can do amazing things for humanity (no pressure though haha).
As a student with limited funds I'm also keen on couch surfing as a way of meeting locals and discovering new places without having to sell my organs on the black market.

Music, Movies, and Books
Indie folk music, or anything live
The hugest amount of books ever, I couldn't even begin to list my favourites but I reckon I've read the entire Harry Potter series about 15 times
Movies: Clouds of Sils Maria, Fight Club, Red Dog // basically I love quirky small production films, and anything with ridiculous Australian/New Zealand humour is a winner
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched the northern lights in an Icelandic paddock with my family on New Years Eve
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach surfing, French, English, how to eat lots of food even when you're not hungry.
Would love to learn funny colloquial expressions in other languages, about whichever country I'm in - politics, issues, history, culture, and basically anything anyone is willing to teach me.
Would love to share whatever small or large experiences possible with hosts, whether that's a meal, a conversation, a crazy adventure into the unknown...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my medium cooking skills, my crazy passion for travelling and seeing the world, and stories of me doing hilarious/ridiculous/dumb things throughout my travels.
