I'm native to the state of Washington but have been living in other parts of the US and around the world since 2005. I've spent time in California, Connecticut, and New York, and have lived abroad in Thailand and Colombia. Travel is my greatest passion and I believe it is the best way to learn!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be embarking on open-ended travel in Europe this spring and am interested in trying Couchsurfing for the first time. I'm looking for a more relaxed atmosphere than youth hostels typically provide as well as the chance to get a better idea of what locals' lives are like in each of the places I visit. I would like to get to know my hosts well and gain a better understanding of their culture through our time spent together.
