After an amazing exchange semester living in Krakow and travelling Europe I am keen to keep the dream alive by hosting people at my home on the Gold Coast and couchsurfing again in USA in 2013.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have both surfed throughout Europe and hosted from my flat I had in Krakow, Poland. Have met the most amazing people and can't wait to host for the first time at my home on the Gold Coast.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Loved every minute. Although it is not every time that you truly connect with your host/surfer, every experience is valuable and definitely no regrets.
My first surfing experience was in Vienna with 2 different hosts, both very sweet and accomodating. One of them wasnt even staying at his place, just left us the keys!! We must have seemed very trustworthy!

Interests

Mingling with different cultures, especially in bars, concerts and outdoor activities. Extreme sports (when I can afford it), sport in general. Parties and meeting new people. Hiking, bushwalking etc

My only neutral experience was in winter in Norway, my host didn't specify before I had arrived that I would need to leave when he left which was very early in the morning and very cold and not even a McDonalds open where I could keep warm for a few hours. Since then I always check the details in advance if I am surfing somewhere cold or remote.
