ABOUT ME

I am a student currently studying abroad in Northern Ireland, and trying to see as much as I can while I'm here. I love animals, cats especially, and I love learning languages. I think that the couchsurfing website is a great idea for someone who is on a budget but also for its networking possibilities. I have not couch surfed myself yet, but I'm looking forward to my first time!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know if it counts as a personal philosophy but I have two quotes that I like the most:

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, since I'm traveling, I am just hoping to meet lots of other couch surfers. Hopefully when I get home I will be able to host, although I'm not sure why anyone would want to come to Brampton :S

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have so far had 2 couchsurfing experiences and they were both great! One of them I didn't really see the guy we were surfing with much, but that's ok. The other was a host named Angel and she fits her name. She was so welcoming, it wasn't like meeting a new person it was like getting together with an old friend.

I have just racked up 3 more couchsurfing experiences! All in London!
- Robin Lambert, awesome guy and we were his first! Felt like a brother to me.
- Andrew Allen, amazing apartment, amazing guy, and while staying with him we got to meet two french couchsurfers! We didn't understand each other very well, but they were really nice and when my friend almost knocked over Andrew's TV, Cedric leapt out of bed to catch it. Thanks goodness!
- Jamie Ballard, my friends actually stayed with him and I only met him, but I learned that all the squirrels in England are named Dave
