About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a happy gal living in Santa Barbara and loving life! I hold down a solid day job as a project manager, but found my passion in massage therapy and am devoting most of my spare time to pursuing further education and deepening my practice. I am fascinated by the power and resilience in the human body to heal itself, and am focused on helping facilitate healing from trauma (emotional and physical) and stress related CNS disorders through physical touch.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is my blood type- B Positive!
Matthew 25:31-40
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My life has me pretty grounded at the moment, so my participation is mainly limited to hosting in my amazing downtown apartment (I live on top of a cheese shop, what more could you ask for?!). I love getting make new friends and building bridges with people.
I have been taking a few small trips through Cali, and am very thankful for the people who have taken me into their homes.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience- I backpacked through Europe in 2007 and was graciously housed many times. It was a great way to meet new friends and get awesome recommendations for the best local spots!
This is the first year I have hosted, and all of my experiences have been overwhelmingly wonderful :)
Interests
Santa Barbara is like Disneyland for adults! My weekends are spent hiking in our beautiful mountains, at the beach (either shredding on my boogie board, or just taking a stroll), or wine tasting in the Funk Zone.
I am always reading something!
