About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm on a never ending journey to love myself and the world around me, to seek new things and beautiful moments, lovely people and happiness.

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Northern New Jersey. Currently in Maryland attending Towson University as a Deaf Studies major. I am hard of hearing and fluent in American Sign Language, something I am extremely proud of. Growing up, I never felt like a fit in. Stuck between two different worlds and not really knowing where I should be. Being deaf has really changed the way I view the world and learning sign language has helped shape me in more ways than I could ever imagine. I think I'm a fairly quick study, good at understanding and adjusting to change.
I'm not fully deaf so spoken conversations are not difficult for me. You don't have to sign in order to communicate, I promise. Spoken English will do just fine so don't worry about that.

PHILOSOPHY

Man, these are some hard hitting questions here. I suppose I live by hope. That is, hope for good things and happy days and exciting times and family and friends. I believe everything has a way of working itself out eventually, maybe not in the way you want it to or thought it would.

Interests

I love to cook, do yoga, explore, go on adventures, meet new people, do new and exciting things. Basically a self professed hippie, although I bet that's what all the kids say.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed Masada in Israel, spent a night in the Bedouin tents in the Kana`im Valley of Israel, watched the sun come up in the middle of said desert, snorkeled with the fishies and sharkies in Bermuda

Teach, Learn, Share

Be genuine. Be present. There are too many people doing and being what they think everyone else wants them to be and too wrapped up in their own lives and what's going to happen in ten minutes or an hour or next year to be present in the moment and really care about what's going on right now. Life is entirely too short to not enjoy right now and the people you're with.
