我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a handful of people in Boston and couch-surfed through Eastern Europe for 2 months!! The opportunity to experience a place from the view of those that live there... is priceless. Through couchsurfing I have made lifelong friends, and gone on unimaginable journeys.

兴趣

I love traveling, camping, hiking, dancing around, drinking, laughing, pondering the cosmos, hot sauce, and spending time with my friends. Every sunday, all of my friends get together for Sunday Dinner (big potluck dinner) and we all catch up, unwind, and eat heartily. It's my favorite part of the week.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Argentina's Iguazu falls - a magical mysical fairytale jungle where butterflies are everywhere, toucans fly overhead, rainbows are a permanent fixture, and the power of the falls is unparalleled with anything I have ever seen (even Godafoss in Iceland!)

Iceland - the whole country is the most beautiful place I have been to so far. The glaciers contradict the expansive lavafields, the fluffy green/white carpet-moss is a great place for a nap, the blue of the mountaintop caldera lakes is the clearest of blues, and Hekla lumes nearby wherever you go (largest and oldest volcano on the island).

I know a lot about geology, living a high quality life, and gymnastics.
I also know a fair amount about genetic aspects of cancer (from my job) and love to get into philosophical (and other similar deeper realms of thinking) conversations.
I am always interested in learning new things!
