Hi there! I'm Lea and I'm looking forward to meeting you!
I was born in Germany but grew up mainly on the island of Crete. My mother tongue is English. I have a degree in Natural Sciences from Tel Aviv University after learning the language in a one-year preparatory course.
The best time of my life was when I stayed in New Jersey and worked at Six Flags, at the water park. Tell you about it when we meet up!
Back on Crete now after 12 years in Germany. Glad to be back!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it's a great concept that connects people from various countries. By meeting locals you can get to know the country you're visiting much better than if you stayed in a hotel.
I haven't been too active on CS so far, but I'd like to change that now. So, let's get in touch!

Interests

I love the outdoors and animals, I have sung in various choirs and have been very athletic in the past. Horseback riding, biking, climbing are just a few of the outdoor sports I have enjoyed and still do when I get the chance!

I used to read one book after the other... Now less frequently. Used to read lots of phantasy like The Neverending Story, Momo, LOTR, but now it's more autobiographical and other novels.
