ABOUT ME

I am addicted to travelling. I moved around a lot as a child and this gave me experiences and a love of cultural differences which no schooling education could have given me.
I am lucky enough to travel with my job, and to travel as a hobby.
I am a thrill seeker and I am not afraid of trying new things to broaden my horizons further. I especially want to travel to places that are not very common as holiday destinations.
I'm very easy going, I'll sleep anywhere, I'll eat anywhere, I'll go anywhere and do anything, as long as I learn about the country and the culture of the people that live there.
Other hobbies include diving, skiing, reading, socialising with friends, camping, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy, do what you love and live each day to the fullest.
Dont regret anything you did, you learnt something valuable from it.
And take risks, it opens doors and lets you experience things you never thought possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cant host at the moment because I live in company accommodation but I'm happy to meet people and show them around during their stay in Dubai. If I happen to be away, I'd still be more than happy to recommend places to see and things to do via email.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first official CS experience was in Paris with Nico, and it was even better than I'd imagined. Since then I've met people like Jesper and Martin who have travelled to Dubai and shown them around, as well as meeting people who live in Dubai so that we can continue to build a strong CS community here.

TV: NCIS, 24, CSI, Bones, Will & Grace, Megastructures, well anything on the discovery channels really, Charmed, Ghost Whisperer, The Nanny, etc.

Movies: Anything action or romantic comedy. Loved the Die Hard trilogy, James Bond, the Bourne trilogy, The Wedding Date, Nottinghill, Legally Blond, Charlie´s Angels (I want to be one), Mamma Mia...and so the list goes on.

Music: Wide variety, excluding Rap. Especially pop probably. Pink, Beyonce, Westlife, Cascada, Bryan Adams, Queen, The Corrs, Savage Garden, Snow Patrol, Lifehouse, Britney Spears (yes, really!) Nickelback etc.

Books: Agatha Christie & just about any decent crime book. My new favourite are the Lee Child books. Loved the Da Vinci Code and Dan Brown´s other books, including Digital Fortress and Angels & Demons. Loved Air Babylon because its just so true!!
