Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Go on a big trip (SE Asia and more) and see where it takes me!
ABOUT ME
I want to travel the world. I had an unconventional upbringing, have just finished university, and am ready to explore new places, meet new people, and learn new things! I can be serious or laid-back depending on the mood, am open-minded, adventurous, and love a good laugh and a good meal.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't know that I have a philosophy. I'm not really a philosophy-type person. But I do think these things:
I think the world is a beautiful and fascinating place, and that people are naturally good at heart. The world can be safer and happier, I think, if people are able to trust one another, and to share and celebrate their different cultures.
I also think that a little compassion, positivity and humour can go a long way in making everyone's life a little more enjoyable.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots of different types of music. I especially lean towards R&B, Hip Hop/Pop and Soul, and anything with a good beat. But I also love some jazz, classical, blues, and folk.
For books, I have a weakness for fantasy and scifi fiction, but also enjoy authors like Margaret Atwood, Barbara Kingsolver, George Orwell and others, including some narrative non-fiction.
I love movies. But not horror movies. I really like happy movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing to the top of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain, when the feeling of exhilaration made me promise myself I would find more opportunities to climb mountains.
Being in India and attending a meditation for peace event with over 2.5 million people. Woah.
Marrying my awesome husband, which took two days and two ceremonies and was like a really great dream.
Teach, Learn, Share
Basic baking skills, especially how to do so with alternative ingredients (vegan, wheat free), basic vegetarian cooking, basic crochet...
