I have just moved back to Canada after 28 years living in New Zealand. I have also written and published my first book.

I am not really sure where I want to settle and so have embarked on a road trip for 2017 & 2018 to explore Canada and to launch my book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being on the road for this length of time, driving a truck camper, can be very expensive. I am looking to reduce my costs and to create community as much as possible while I travel. Couch surfing, boon docking and free camping are good options for this.

For the most part I love listening to nature, but when I feel like listening to music I love a variety: meditation music; jazz; old rock and roll; country

I don't watch tv or see many movies, but when I do I love documentaries mostly.

A couple of my favourite books are: A New Earth and The Power of Now (both by Eckhart Tolle)

I have sold up everything in New Zealand and moved back to Canada, now living like a gypsy.
