I am a general practitioner in Canada, working in the Rocky Mountains near Calgary! I traveled for three years between my studies, and am planning more trips now that I am finished up with school.

I love the spirit of travel - exploring new cultures, learning about history, and of course, eating all sorts of new, delicious food (especially if salmon is involved)! But the thing I've always loved the most is the people you meet along the way - some of the most memorable experiences I've had have been with the Couchsurfing community - whether sharing a walk downtown with a fellow traveler or meeting locals to better understand a country.

When I'm not traveling, I'm usually dreaming about afternoon tea or hunting on Google Maps for new used bookstores to lurk in.
