ABOUT ME

Plain Jane. Novice traveller. I suppose I should put more here but I never know what to say. I'm fairly quiet and easy to get along with. I have a job that sends me away to work for a month and then I get a month off and I'd like to travel more in that time.

PHILOSOPHY

I think there is a spectrum to most things in life (sex,drugs and rock & roll) and though people float or stick I still try to judge and care for people on an individual basis. I'm open to most things, even if just for curiosity sake.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted 2 completely different surfers. And I've learned about myself and the world from both of them!

Musica, film e libri

I watch movies, listen to music and read but only in bursts.

When I'm on a reading burst, I alternate between a classic, a current and a nonfiction. Sometimes I read them all at the same time. This works if I get to finish them in the burst!

I mostly listen to the radio so pop music that gets radio play. Occasionally I jump into a genre. But those genres are not usually rap or country!

I've been to the Arctic. Seen polar bears. And I've met royalty.

Hmmmm, while I host, people will see typical Newfoundland life.
If hosted, I'm very handy. I've built much of my house. I'm a marine engineer so if you give me a manual, I can build it or fix it.
And I like baking muffins etc.
