我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

With our Ural motorcycles we have a lot of breakdowns and breakdowns are a great way to meet people.
In Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Siberia and the far east of Russia it was easier to meet local hospitality outside of the internet context. In N.America couchsurfing is the perfect way to come in contact with people and get to know what local hospitality means...

The last 2 years of my life, or our lives have mainly been called "leavinghomefunktion - on the landway to new york".

We are a group of young arts graduates from Europe and got together to do a research on adapting to foreign land conditions, cultures and how to solve breakdown situations in innovative and efficient ways.

Before this I was working on projects such as: www.howtokillawitch.tumblr.com
The main interest of this research was about how social clusters form rules and rituals. This is still in progress and will follow a project called www.howtosaveamermaid.tumblr.com (this will be focused more on how morals and ethics develop in social clusters)

Invisible Cities, The poetics of Space

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Drove up the 1000 mile Kolyma river in the Far East of Russia. We did this by replacing the final drives of our Urals with propellers.
Apart from that I would say living for 2 years+ in a sidecar is quite the experience :)
