I joined couch surfing to meet people around the world. I love traveling and recently have discovered that meeting locals improves a trip abroad tremendously. While I don't primarily want to find a place to stay, it would not hurt.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with friends abroad and its always a great experience. The best experience was when I stayed with a Japanese family in rural Japan. Wonderful!
