I'm a 20 year old student of electronics engineering. I live today, here and now. Next year is still far away, and so is the rest of my life. I'm realistic (not pessimistic!), and pretty down to earth. I like learning new things of all sorts, in whatever fashion they present themselves.

My music taste shifts every year or so, but favorite musical genres and bands of the past few years include (more or less in chronological order):
- Heavy Metal: Metallica, Edguy, System of a Down
- Progressive Metal: Pain of Salvation, Dream Theater, Tool, Týr
- Progressive Rock (in a very broad sense): Riverside, Gazpacho, Anathema, Antimatter, The Pineapple Thief, Demians, Karmakanic, Marillion, Pure Reason Revolution, Archive
Acoustic: Rue Royale, Bon Iver, The Swell Season, Isbells

I don't read very much, although I do like it. It's often too much effort to get started.

My taste in movies is not as specific as my taste in music. Some films that I really enjoyed are Requiem for a Dream, Fight Club, Into the Wild, The Edukators, Dead Man's Shoes,...
I also watch a lot of series. A few favorites are Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under, Dexter, Green Wing,...
