Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not a very social media person, so couchsurfing is a new stuff for me although I've done it many times (as host & guest) through my friends network.

Also when I travel I really enjoy meeting local people & getting a little bit about their way of life... and couchsurfing sounds pretty cool for that!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm expected to say I love brazilian culture!! I like bossa nova, maracatu, frevo, forró, samba... like our food, literature & cinema too.

But I also love knowing different ones and exchange files too.. My computer is totally full of nice things I've got from different people I've met!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to work for three years in very poor regions around Brazil and it was a really life-changing experience to me. Living between them, facing up several sad things and witnessing how people can still be happy even living a real hard life brought me a deep change about essence, happiness & life.

I hiked the Wicklow Way, a 130 km trail into the irish nature & second longest in Ireland and it was really special for me. Doing it myself, walking and sleeping alone into a nature totally different from what I'm used to made me feel stronger & more confident about myself.

I went on a road trip driving Brazil over 5000 km, from the extreme east to extreme west. That was a great opportunity to see how big & amazing my country is.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some traditional food from my region, show you some music, dance (I'm terrible doing it, but I can try) & make you laugh of my clumsy way.
