I like to make new friends (especially if they are dogs), get out of my comfort zone, challenge my biases, and make the most of opportunities to further educate myself.
I've previously studied psychology and worked in research then moved onto community work. I search for projects that value kindness, equity, and sustainability.
When I travel, I try to connect with people who think and live differently to me and like to get some kind of idea of how society functions generally in the places I visit.
I love oddness and the unexpected. I like going out and getting lost in the night, dancing when the music is interesting, and doing touristy things like seeing the sights and visiting museums, but I'm equally happy exploring the supermarket or the public library, or just sitting in a park and having deep discussions about pretty much anything.
I'm originally from Australia, but I'm currently based in North Cyprus. I've been here for over a year now and feel very at home. It's a very interesting special place and I enjoy sharing what I love about it with people who visit :)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I intentionally went to a city where I didn't know anyone, without any money, and only the clothes I was wearing to stay for a month and see what would happen. (Luckily) it was a very positive experience. I met some very kind people and learned a lot about what is important to me and what I value in myself and others.
