I view myself as being kind, courteous & easy to get a long with. I get pleasure from helping others & I am willing to help whenever possible. My Passions are traveling, outdoor activities(hiking,camping,etc.), & experiencing new cultures. I am progressive & fairly liberal in my views. I'm open minded & always open to new ideas. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to get away from the daily grind of everyday life which has become quite soul numbing. I am in need of a new adventure & some new experiences. Traveling is my #1 passion but unfortunately it can be quite expensive and I wouldn't be able to do it for long, Couchsurfing would give me the chance to travel for long periods of time for a relatively low cost & give me the opportunity to meet some new & interesting people & hopefully make some good friends a long the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Indie rock, Folk, Post rock, House, EDM, Chillstep, Instrumental, Lounge, I enjoy most forms of music with the exception of country.

I like cerebral films that are kind of deep: PI, Inception, eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, Fight club, requiem for a dream, etc. I also like sci-fi, adventure, and I love documentaries!

I like books about Science, Nature, History, or New and Interesting Ideas. I also enjoy Sci-fi & countless other subjects.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am new to traveling but my best experience thus far is when I spent 5 weeks in Antigua, Guatemala with a host family. I did volunteer work on a coffee plantation & had the pleasure of meeting many interesting people from around the world.
