Overview
About Me
An active, contemplative, present guy moving through life wanting to learn about myself and others more. I'm currently travelling around the Netherlands after having just finished a retreat about deep, introspective work facilitated by magic mushrooms. Happy to share more about any of my experiences, and want to hear about yours!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Wanting to connect more with the Dutch people. I have only met some in passing, and would love to get a deeper sense of the culture and how people live their lives. Would love to share any and all stories about where I am from.
Interests
I am very active, play tons of beach volleyball, have weight lifted for many years, and care deeply about knowing myself and others and connecting more and deeper. I get great pleasure from time in nature, thus living where I currently do in Calgary, a place very close to the stunning Canadian Rockies.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am currently reading several books, one of which is by an author Gabor Matè called "The Myth of Normal". I love anything by Tara Brach, am slowly going through the book "The Order of Time", which talks about the physics of time. The odd fiction book, though I haven't found any recently that has caught my eye.
