I love to make people laugh and think it's important to be able to laugh at yourself and not take yourself too seriously! For me travelling is something that is deep in my heart and I've always dreamt of seeing all the amazing things this planet has to offer as well as meeting new people and sharing unique experiences along the way. I'm always up for doing something new, going somewhere new or meeting someone new - life is about experiences!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling the world has given me so much and couchsurfing is the perfect platform by which to share my joy of travelling with others be it as a guest as my world adventures continue or in the future as a host when hopefully I'll have the money to have a couch of my own. Couchsurfing not only opens up the world for those travelling on a budget but also allows people like myself to meet like minded people and see towns, cities and countries from a new perspective; through the eyes of someone who calls it home.

Interests

I am very sporty and love to snowboard and surf, I also like to play basketball and football (Manchester United fan, in case you want to know), anything sporty really and I'm up for it. I'm into film making and writing as well as photography (I studied film production and writing at University), love going to gigs and live shows; I was raised on live music, one of my earliest memories is sitting on my mum's sholders at a Rolling Stones gig and having the band waive to me and my twin brother. Like anyone I do like to chill as well - good book, good music, good film or good conversation with a few cold beers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, I'm into an eclectic mix from Pop punk and rock to folk and country. Some of my favorite artists include Blink 182, New Found Glory, Jimmy Eat World, Brand New, Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash.

Films, I love films and cinema, simply I cannot watch enough in my lifetime. If I was forced to pick a few of my top films I would probably choose Donnie Drako, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and The Big Lebowski... but honestly the list is endless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

TRAVEL! I've been travelling the world now for a little over 6 years and without a shadow of a doubt this has been the greatest decision of my life. Travelling has afforded me the opportunity to meet amazing people, see amazing places and do amazing things, and I know as my journey continues I have so much more left to discover!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cocktails, wine, and beer and can certainly mix up a good classic cocktail or even one of my own creation. So if you want to learn a thing or two about cocktails, wine or beer I'm always game to share my knowledge and share in the delights of a delicious beverage. Also I am teach you the awesome game of Pass the Pigs, it involves rolling two pigs like dice and collecting points, I've not met anyone so far who didn't love it!
