Greetings fellow Earthlings!

well, it's official- we are Taking The Leap!
this is our maiden voyage & we are excited to share it with you!

my partner (Nathan) and i quit our jobs a while back- and now we are on the road. each of us has always felt a calling to explore the world & reflect its beauty back through art and literature.
so- we tied up as many loose-ends as possible- left our worldly possessions in storage on the family homestead- packed our bags and headed "West for the Winter"- to focus all of our time and energy on getting in touch with ourselves, healing, adventuring, seeing new cultures, meeting fresh friends, and accessing creative flow.

Couchsurfing is where the heart-centered community gathers to have adventures and support each other, yea?

we have always let wayward souls into our home- to cosy down and replenish.

now, we are looking to find cosy abodes with lovely people who enjoy lofty conversations and have a zest for life. (we have a van, so the bed part isn't quite necessary)

mostly we are looking forward to expanding our network of interesting characters (who knows. perhaps you will make it into our comic book..)

oh my... hmm... well- i love all things whimsical.

i love music that helps lift my spirits/speaks profound truths (Mike Love, Trevor Hall, Hang Drum/ Hang Massive, Aurora, Rising Appalachia, Medicine for the People, Rebelution, Deltron, Gorillaz, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, etcetc
( i like other music too...lots)

i love to read into spiritual topics- and sci-fi- and well...just so much stuff.

a few good movies i have seen recently are Divergent, How to Train Your Dragon (i swear they based Toothless off of my cat Finn,) The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, Secret of Moonacre, Microcosmos, etc (that was a while ago... lots more since)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

teaching my cat to live life alongside me- to go hiking, camping, disc golfing, to ring a bell on doors to ask to be let out/in, to ride on my shoulders and sleep in a backpack (on extended walks,) the list goes on and on- though i cannot take credit for the heart and intelligence of this lovely creature- i am pretty proud of my input!
next task- toilet training!

Finn is a polite, patient, and present companion (& guest)
she is also an enthusiastic and powerful healer (she loves to help me with Reiki sessions- client willing)

drawing, painting, reading, writing, child-rearing, storytelling, lucid dreaming, reiki, meditation, poi spinning, laughing, listening, singing, dancing, cooking, cleaning, gardening, believing, beloving, belonging...

All of the above qualify in each category, as we have a bit to teach but would love to share in the ongoing learning practice, as we are confident novices and/or eternal students at each.

We have countless skills both domestic and creative, and will not only keep our own things tidy, but take pride in keeping yours tidy as well. In addition, we'd be happy to help you whitewash your fence, preferably to paint a mural on it, devise a catapult for the 21st century, watch children age 0-200, research secret ingredients, discuss time travel, do laundry, train circus mice, wash dishes or your bifocals, organize your cupboards, oragaminize your papers, cook experimental sweet-meets-savory meals from your leftovers, get you the appropriate wrenches for car repairs, share 2 or more jokes, fold blankets in exciting new ways, build a doghouse, read books aloud, cuddle or walk your pets, brainstorm, etc. We are always willing to offer our services for the comfort of our hosts.
