ABOUT ME

I want to do something with my life that may go un-noticed to many, but makes a difference to at least a few.
I have spent a lot of my time in various learning institutions and although I love learning I find myself unmotivated to do so in the traditional methods. I want to get out in the world and see things and experience things and learn the practicalities that come with being well traveled.
I am of Asian descent but I'm as Aussie as they come.I was born in South Korea but haven't been there since I was born; one day I will go check out my heritage. I enjoy photography and rock climbing and most outdoor activities. I like a challenge and can be totally dedicated when it comes to something I am passionate about.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything happens for a reason. There is no point in dwelling on the past except to work out the lesson and to apply it in the here and now. I try hard not to judge people but often intuition can be right. I don't hold people to their past history or mistakes. Personal mistakes are just hard lessons and everyone must experience things for themselves to work out their personal beliefs and values.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couch surfing. I heard about it from a friend and I hope to spend sometime with like-minded people while I am traveling. As I will be backpacking and staying mostly in hostels, if i get the chance I will spread the word that this community is available for people as an alternative.

Movies must not scare me or make me cringe. They can however make me laugh, cry, think, or learn.
I love music! Alternative and eclectic. Rock, electronicia, chill out sessions,blues, instrumentals, piano pieces, all things I like.
I believe that books are one of the greatest inventions. I enjoy reading almost every type of genre, criteria as for movies. Most recently I have thoroughly enjoyed the book "Even cowgirls get the blues" by Tom Robbins.

The most amazing thing I have seen is the sun rising over the hills and the sun setting over the ocean. Luckily I get to see it again, and again, and again...
