About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be fearless!

ABOUT ME

I'm an artist, I bake bread, I weave, I love to read. I am interested in history, travel, biking, hiking, coffee, dancing, and making.

PHILOSOPHY

self- sufficiency and reuse!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to support a more global community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met up with a wonderful lady in Glasgow, and I hosted for a cool Californian dude and had a great time showing him around Boston. I plan to be on the road again soon, on a road trip across the USA.

Interests

I am interested in making everything myself- I try to reuse and reduce, and I try to be a conscious consumer. I am interested in meeting travelers and sharing experiences- I am challenging myself, as a raving introvert, to actively reach out and to meet new people.
I love biking, and am interested in learning bike repair. I'm interested in learning in general...the library is above the grocery store on my errands list every week. I have also recently rediscovered hiking and was introduced to rock climbing.

Music, Movies, and Books

A History of the World in 100 Objects blew my mind, I love historical fiction and magical realism.
I listen to a lot of folk but I love going to hardcore and punk shows.
I like horror movies and period dramas. There is a great independent cinema a few minutes walk from my apartment, and they play some awesome films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked up a 12th century broch with my best friend on the Isle of Skye and drank ten-year-old single malt from the distillery nearby. We settled down in the grass, felt the sea breeze in out hair, and looked out over the waterfalls into the bay with no one but sheep around as far as we could see- so magical!

Teach, Learn, Share

other artists, musicians, makers, doers, and creators. travelers, people with big dreams, people who like gardening, food politics, drawing, history- anyone who is open to trying new things.
I really want to learn to surf! And bike repair.
