My adventures first begun in 2012 where I took several weeks out of my 9-5 job to backpack USA. Since then I fell in love with the travel life style. At the start of 2014 I bought a one way ticket to Australia and I've never looked back. After a year of travelling and working around Australia I opted for a change of scenery and jumped ship to New Zealand for the next part of my adventure.

So here I am in New Zealand, excited to explore every little part of this beautiful country and hoping you guys out there can make this year as special as possible for me.

But more about me, I am a fun, easy going person who loves to laugh and make others laugh. I have fell in love with backpacking and exploring and cannot see myself returning to England for a long time, if ever.

I am on Couchsurfing because I love to meet new people from different backgrounds, countries, ethnicites, upbringings etc.

I think that the concept of Couchsurfing is amazing and is a great example of people helping each other and to be a part of this community is awesome.

I Couchsurfed my way through USA but unfortunately never surfed or hosted in Australia. However I regularly attended meetings and events and made some amazing friends this way.

Music: I love music festivals and can listen to most music. Currently my most listened to artists are Arctic Monkeys and Eminem, quite different I know.

Movies: I'll watch anything once but my all time favourites is the Lord of the Rings trilogy. A few recent good watches I've seen would be Whiplash and American Sniper, both excellent films.

TV: I've watched a lot of series including Breaking Bad, Dexter, The Walking Dead, Prison Break, Homeland, Sons of Anarchy and Game of Thrones.

Books: My favourite books are the Game of Thrones books. I also enjoy true crime novels, travellers tales and detective novels.

- Walking down into the Grand Canyon at 4am to watch the sun rise from inside. Amazing!

- Skydive over Mission Beach

- Seeing a hammerhead shark on a dive on the Great Barrier Reef
