I've been to 40 countries so far. Seeing the world has always been a motivating impulse of life. Exploring the varied cultural features, religions, histories, literary traditions, minorities of different countries fascinates me. Having been a teacher for 20 years, I feel especially committed to education, global citizenship, and building bridges among diverse cultures.

Immersing myself in the Baha'i sacred teachings creates new universes of understanding about the spiritual dimensions of our world. Conceptions persist of religion as a competition for superiority and inferiority or as a man-made collection of dogmas and rituals. It is instead a doorway to our deeper selves and nobler service to humanity. Listening to the hidden yet ever-present call within the universe lies at the core of what makes life compelling.
