About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new CS people and share philosophies.

ABOUT ME

Your Personality is Very Rare (INFP)

Your personality type is dreamy, romantic, elegant, and expressive.

Only about 5% of all people have your personality, including 6% of all women and 4% of all men
You are Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Perceiving.

How Rare Is Your Personality?

I'm a bit of an introvert, but I like meeting new internationals, hence my reason for being an "ex-patriate" American, living and studying at the University of Glasgow, U.K. So, I like trying new things and sharing a good time.

I enjoy nature and natural things that are in balance with the universe. I like to hill walk, discover hidden treasures, and architecture is a thing of beauty. I enjoy good cooks, quite a treat, since my own cooking is lousy! Teach me to cook something!

I like all types of music from heavy metal to jazz to classical and the "oldies" as long as it has something that reaches inside and touches me. My enemy is stress and inner turmoil and I'm doing my best to live in harmony so that it doesn't take over my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Live, Laugh, Love

http://www.saidwhat.co.uk
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
In my philosophy also includes the forgotten paths.

I learned that it is the weak who are cruel, and that gentleness is to be expected only from the strong.
- Leo Rosten

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a traveler in Australia (Queensland & Tasmania) and the United Kingdom (Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland) during my student years. I have also Also, I enjoy meeting other international folk and discussing different worldviews or lifestyles which is rare, but growing in my small Midwestern college neighborhood. Life brings much delight and interest in each others gifts that are meant to be shared. Also, I am a definite believer in the barter system of working on small projects for room and board to build a sense of togetherness and triumph. Thoroughly getting to know an area by meeting the people during a working holiday is my best idea of an adventurous trip.

Interests

Great conversation, relaxation and travel.
Hill-walking / Hiking, Music of all types (especially live!)
Reading travel stories and exploring new cultures.
I'd like to join an overseas volunteer group to do community service during my travels.
