Hi everybody,
My name is Leena, Im originally from Ilmajoki and now living in Kalajoki. I studied at Oulu University, and graduated last year. I'm interested in ecology and nature conservation and studied geography as my minor. I'm also biology and geography teacher and have done volunteer and organisation work with children and teens mostly in environmental education.

I also have quite caring personality so hosting gives me chance to help people and make their trip more comfortable and perhaps memorable. Meeting people from different places and backgrounds have given me more versatile perspective to life.

兴趣

I'm pretty active person, I play floorball and ultimate and love doing outdoor activities. I have a dog, Elmo, with whom I jogg, explore new paths and do agility. I enjoy hiking and spending time in nature. Handicrafts are also close to my heart and I'm knitting and sewing quite a lot.

Nature often amazes me. One memorable moment was summer night in Lapland at lake Sarmijärvi far from everything. Only nature sounds and the sun above the horizon all night.
