CURRENT MISSION:

I’m travelling till middle of June and when I come back I don’t have a flat and need to find a new one. It’s gonna take a while. I get requests everyday, please don’t when it’s written that I can’t host..
Making my way through southeastasia and Japan from November till June. Exploring wonderful places and meeting good people all over the place. Getting on touch with other culture was always really interesting for me.
After my travels I’m gonna study fashion design in Berlin.

My real name is leevke bit you can call me by my nickname , Leo. :)

I was born in Berlin and I really love my hometown. There is so much inspiration, individuality and fun to be found.
But still I try to get away as often as possible. Travelling is the only thing where you spend money but get richer st the same time.
My first trip by my own was New York City for 3 month where I did a project about the dancing culture in NY and did a lot of Ballett and Modern Dance.
After New York came South Africa, this one and a half month been a great time. We teached the children how to fix clothing if it’s ripped, how to fix a bike and how to make their school prettier with mosaics out of trash etc. to feel these kids happiness and power was a really good experience.

And now I’m on my third big trip, started in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia and Japan. I decided to travel by my own cause you make the most experiences and you get in touch with the places and it’s people way more. I’m a sociable and easy going person, I like to talk but sometimes I really enjoy silence too. And I’m having a pretty positive mind, of course sometimes you can fall deep but the world is big and there is so much beauty out there ...

And I always try to find beauty in everything, if it’s a flower on the side of a railway, a beautiful shadow or a smile in a dark place.

Interests

I love nature, I feel really connected and it calms me down and makes me really happy. After being too long in the city I am feel I get an inner nervousity and unhappy, nature balances me. Music is also big point in my life, all kind of genres (I love classical music like Chopin and Bach as much as I love techno -Berlin is a good place to hear a lot of good music in this genre - or salsa, rock,...) and to do music with friends. And I love almost every kind of art. I’m a really artistic person, try to express myself in many way. If it’s the way that i dress or drawing, playing guitar and singing or Dance the shit out of your soul. makes you free..
creating new things make me happy and I love to go in art museums or do creative things with other people..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living with an indigenous tribe in the jungle of Sumatra for a week... no electricity and living with just what Mother Nature gives you... being a part of their family and learning a lot about nature-medicine,-religion,-food.

Teach, Learn, Share

Next to German and English I can teach you some basic skills with playing guitar or how to play Piano. I do a lot of artsy stuff and would always be down to do something creative together, would also love to learn more about it. And if you are in love with music we can have some good conversations about it and show new songs!

I would love to learn some new languages, learn how to cook dishes from your country, hear interesting story’s about travelling and share yoga or meditation...
there is so much to share and to learn from human beings.:)

Couchsurfing gives the opportunity to meet people that grew up in a different culture and in a complete different way and it’s so nice to share story’s and experiences, to learn from each other and to inspire each other. Met a lot of people who changed my future cause they gave me inspiration just with the way they live or think. And it makes me happy when friends tell me that I could inspire them :)
