About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding my place in the world...wherever the road will lead me
ABOUT ME
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."
I'm a vegetarian, animal loving, self-proclaim photographer, and wilderness adventurist who loves to travel. I'm always looking for an adventure and to meet new people. It's all about self-discovery and growing from my experiences!
PHILOSOPHY
Your heart is free, have the courage to follow it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I jump right in!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My very first couchsuring experience was in Singapore where I had a wonderful time with my host. She showed me around the city and did her best to spend time with me even though she was busy.
My hosts in Macau and Taipei were beyond great. They went out of their way to make me feel at ease. I loved my experiences in each city !
Interests
Book, movies, current news, culture, art, and so much more.
I'm open to anything new because I'm always eager to learn new things and share my experiences.
I love my two dogs (Mac & Janelly) --- pets are so awesome!
I'm a freelance photographer.
I love the outdoors -- hiking, canoeing, rock climbing. You name it, I will participate. (Although, I don't know how to swim --- shocking huh? Yeah, that's on my to do list before I die).

Music, Movies, and Books
I love the Harry Potter series and Lord of the Rings.
My favorite author is Jane Austen (and of course, my favorite book is Pride and Prejudice).
I'm really into folk/indie music but, in general, I listen to a diverse music selection.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Back in 2007, I canoed the rivers of northern Canada (near the Arctic Circle) for two months.
I skydived solo, jumping from over 10,000 feet.
I spent a summer teaching English in Japan for English Camps.
I've climbed the Great Wall of China (and would love to go back).
For three months (Sept. - Nov. 2013), I paddled the Mississippi River (about 2,300 miles) for the adventure-learning program Paddle Forward.
In Spring 2014, I spent a month volunteering in the Philippines to help out with the typhoon and earthquake relief that occurred late last year in 2013.
I have travelled solo through Southeast Asia twice (2012 and 2014).
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share about my culture (Hmong). Not many people know of it and that makes it all the more unique!
