About Me
After having a great 24 years in Greece I decided it was time for a new challenge. So the logical next step was to go from a sunny and warm country, to a dark and cold one, right? Well here I am writing this "About Me" section right after the 3:10pm sunset here in Sweden. But what happened in between, you ask? Great question! We can share all our adventures when we meet! No spoilers here. :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Sometimes adventure brings the unexpected at your door. You wake up one morning and you realise you didn't sleep on a bed, no one was there to say good morning, your phone ran out of battery so the alarm never went off.
All of this wouldn't have happened if I was on Couchsurfing! (I know, I should probably work in marketing or something, thanks for pointing that out!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It might be the most common thing among Couchsurfers, but I'm really proud of my 32-day solo backpacking across central Europe in the summer of 2018. Every decision made before and during that trip was 100% unplanned, unprepared and it somehow always worked in the end. I had the honour to meet the most amazing people, experience thought provoking moments and truly submerge myself in a chaotic, unpredictable journey. The conclusion was, among other personal things, that in the end what you do doesn't really matter. Just do what you feel like and make sure to be nice to the people around you. The things that didn't work out will just be funny stories you tell in the future. Enjoy the moment, because it only lasts for a moment.
