COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Parents of a couch-surfer in Abilene, KS took my friend and I in on the last leg of our bike trip from KCMO to Salina. It had been raining buckets that day and we were soaked through, filthy, and exhausted. They made us dinner and ice cream, provided hot showers and a REAL bed, and even dropped us off 10 miles up the road the next morning. Real nice folk!

Musica, film e libri
Recently I've read The Changeling (Kenzaburo Oe), Animals in Translation (Temple Grandin), Air Guitar: Essays on Art and Democracy (Dave Hickey), HERAKUT: the perfect merge (HERAKUT).
My favorite author is Flannery O'Connor. Also, I love James Herriot.
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Last summer I went wild camping on the coast of Maine. My best friend and I, and my dog, slept on a boulder one night and woke up to the foghorn of a nearby lighthouse and seals swimming below us in the ocean.
Insegna, impara, condividi
I can teach fermentation of all kinds (Kombucha, soft cheeses, sauerkraut, pickles, injera, sourdough rye, sourdough rice, etc). I know a thing or two about nutrition and herbal medicine. I can teach you how to raise a dog. I also have a knack for looking at art, writing and talking about the things people make.
