About Me

I aim to embrace the world, a little bit more through meaningful encounters, learning from each story shared. Every meeting is a window into something extraordinary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting has always been a joy for me. Whether guiding friends around my city or being part of their travel stories, I’ve cherished those connections. I wish to extend hospitality to new friends—ones who value authentic experiences and shared moments of life. To me, it’s about creating memories together and being present for those little yet profound moments.

Interests

I’m all about embracing adventure and discovering new horizons. Hiking and running fuel my passion for the outdoors, and I’m thrilled to dive into the underwater world with scuba as my next exploration.

Travel, perhaps long stay among the locals inspires me deeply, and my bucket list reflects my love for unique journeys: the Camino de Portugal, Kumano Kodo, Te Araroa Trail (NZ), the breathtaking Caucasus (Georgia/Armenia), and historic paths like the Via Baltic (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) and Via Regia (Poland). Exploring Marmaris and Antalya in Turkey is also on my radar.

My recent trip experience:

I had just completed a 3-week Camino de Santiago, a 499km Spain journey from Burgos to Santiago de Compostela was transformative. The cinematic landscapes, physical challenges, and the pilgrim camaraderie were unforgettable. Speaking with locals despite my limited Spanish brought joy and connection. This journey became more than just a walk — it was a deep reflection of my life so far. I wept as I re-connected past experiences of relationships, and ultimately, I made a life-changing decision to pivot my career/life. The Camino was not just a road trip path; it was a chapter of self-discovery and renewal. Looking for next chapter of another Camino of Portugal.
