ABOUT ME
I really love the outdoors and getting out and meeting new friends, I also like cooking, painting and beaches. I try surfing from time to time but tend to fail at that -still great to get out in the ocean though! I am studying towards my Masters in Environmental Management which I will finish later this year. I also work part time for the Centre for Sustainability, Octa Associates, and volunteer for Generation Zero. I am a happy, easy going open minded person. I am passionate about the environment, especially sustainable food systems.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't yet couchsurfed but plan to change that and really excited to try it out!
My boyfriend and I have hosted people we have met on travels and hitch hiking trips. It is always sad to say goodbye to such great people but it is always fantastic having them here and it means we have friends around the world to visit!

I have a guilty pleasure for romance- The Notebook by Nicolas Sparks, Jodi Picoult. Music- pretty versatile, anything relaxed, happy, upbeat I'll enjoy, Freelance Whales, Goodshirt, the Cats Empire, John Mayer, Taylor Swift, Jack Johnson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to a traditional Mayan ceremony to celebrate the end of the calandar in Guatemala.
Going on exchange to the north of Sweden and living in the Arctic Circle for two and a half months was a real highlight for me. I made life long friends from around the world who I still miss dearly.

I would love to learn more Spanish, more about sailing, rock climbing, other cultures and new people.
