ABOUT ME

My husband Andres and I have recently moved to Uruguay, and we are enjoying exploring South America! We always want to meet new friends! i am a journalist writing freelance articles for my previous publication in Atlanta and for any other opportunities I come across here in Uruguay. I love learning about different languages and cultures, and the best way to do that is to travel and meet interesting people. Live music, piano and outdoor activities (biking, hiking, running) are my favorite pasttimes.

I'm happy to host people here in Uruguay or just give advice to travelers visiting or passing through!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None officially (although I'm hoping to stay with someone in Rio for Carnaval this year!), but lots of couch surfing on friends' and friends-of-friends' couches in the past, throughout Mexico, Central & South America and the U.S.
