Overview
About Me
If you wanted to know more about me, I'm an engineering student and spend my free time studying fashion design. I make clothing sometimes and dream of owning my own clothing label one day. I am often surrounded by artists and I love to be in artsy places. I also find nature quite beautiful.
I am a very respectful houseguest, and I can provide references if need be. I am happy to adjust to what you prefer, in terms of conversation and quiet times. I'm a good cook and I'd be happy to cook you something or offer to help with chores or errands. Most days I will probably be out exploring, but I travel with a laidback vibe. I'd be happy to get drinks or food together anytime.
I currently live in the northern region of California. Arcata, the city I live in, is famous for being one of the most eco-friendly small towns in the US. I like living in such a environmentally conscious and beautiful place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel light when I move through the world in an open and trusting way. I love meeting new people, and cultural exchange. Staying with someone is where its at! People inform so much of how we experience a place. I haven't been able to host because my "radical lifestyle" has not translated to having a huge apartment yet... unfortunately.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some influential non fiction books I've read in the last year include Quiet and The Artist's Way. Would love to talk about these if you've read them.
I'm a huge sci fi and fantasy lover. Anything with excellent worldbuilding. I love to escape into another world.
I don't watch a ton of movies. I'm trying to get into Cdramas to practice my mandarin listening skills, so let me know if you have any recommendations!

Teach, Learn, Share
I am an advanced cook. I would love to have some skill-share if you want to teach me your favorite dish, or I can just make you something. Anything.
I can teach you about cool secret things like how to torrent stuff, how to code your own website, how to develop an artist's practice. If you have any silly errands you've been putting off, I can give you a pep talk. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am very attuned to my surroundings and have no problem offering conversation or quiet, whatever you prefer. I consider myself an excellent conversationalist, I love to chat but also I like my quiet. I'd love to share a cup of tea.
