ABOUT ME

I'm in love with the good of the world. I enjoy meeting and getting to know interesting people and taking advantage of beautiful weather. I love living near the ocean and anything outdoors as well as good food and being barefoot. Bananas are my favorite fruit.

I love my work for a local equestrian company, and spend most of my spare time riding horses, hiking and camping with my dogs when I am at home. With plans to run a Half Marathon coming up, I spend much of my time training via running as well as yoga and cross training activities. I have also recently adopted a vegan diet and have very much enjoyed the adventures of vegan cooking!

Constantly feeding my love and need of travel, I love exploring new destinations as well as revisiting familiar places and take advantage of opportunities to meet and get to know local members of communities through programs like AirBnB and CouchSurfing. I love hosting travelers from all over the world that find themselves in my town -- showing them how and where I live, sharing meals and stories and looking forward to having new places to visit all over the globe with each new person I meet!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed with some wonderful hosts in a few countries, and had some fantastic experiences hosting travelers coming through San Luis Obispo.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in:

Norway, Sweden, Denmark, England, all over the Western US, including San Fransisco & Santa Cruz & Los Angeles, CA, Portland, OR, Las Vegas, NV, and Kanaab, UT and I have had TONS of fun hosting all kinds of travelers coming through the central coast of California. I enjoy a little bit of everything, but mainly Stephen King, Bill Bryson, J.K. Rowling, Michael Crichton, anything SciFi, anything Pixar, I enjoy most movies. Not really a fan of Tim Burton. Musical tastes range from bluegrass to hiphop, including rock, classical, alternative... Basically the only things I don't really enjoy would be metal or modern country. I also have an extremely addictive nature in regards to television shows.
