About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a very honest person who always tries to be nice with the people that surround me as well as to make everybody feel confident and happy. I like feeling that I can help the others to feel well! :) That´s why I dont like prejudices and always try to respect the rest and their ways of doing things.
I love keeping active and doing so many things each day. I love sports (I run everyday and now Im training myself for half marathon) and walking (or running) to everyplace I go. I also like dancing very much, most of all salsa and latin music.
Right now Im studing my last year of Architecture, so what can I say... I really like visiting places, knowing about their History, and learning all I can from its people, its buildings, museums, and its different celebrations.
I also like music very much. I consider it a very important part of my life and of myself. I´ve played the piano for more than 10 years... I love ethnic music from different places in the world.
Nature itself is another thing that marvels me. I usually go to the mountain when I am in my hometown in the Basque Country, and try to make excursions into the nature when I travel so that I

And of course, I love travelling. Travelling opens your mind and makes you be more concius about the world and the people in it. It makes you feel responsible for keeping it in peace and making it better. I have travelled a lot; but until now just around Europe, the US, and a bit of Latin America. That´s why now Im so anxious to keep on travelling in South America, and in the future going to Asia and Africa. I know I still have lots of things to see...
For the next January and February Im planning a trip to Bolivia, Perú and Colombia with a French friend of mine. We are so excited for starting it, and would like to get to know more couchsurfers in our journey!

Interests

Interests...!! I have many!!
I love sports, specially running. Im training myself for the self marathon which I want to run by March in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil. This training keeps me actie and makes me be more positive and have positive energy during the day.
I love nature and hiking in the mountains. Thats why I always try to make nice hiking trips anywhere I travel, which I consider an excellent way to get to know the different places in our planet.
I also love music. In fact Im a fanatic! I play the piano since I was six and music has always been present in my life. I like ethnic music very much and enjoy a lot discovering new kinds of music from other parts of the world.
And I like travelling very much!! Getting to know the different people from different places and their different ways of living is a great way to keep learning and to understand our world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most recent one was in a little island in Bahia, Brasil called Boipeba, next to Salvador. I was there with a friend and met a native family that rented us a little wood house built by themselves. We were in the middle of one of the trips that made with them those days and were so thirsty... Suddenly Vanje, the native man, took out a big naive from his bag and took from one palm tree three green coconuts with fresh water. We drank it all right there, in just a few seconds. It was the best coconut of my life.. !
I also remember entering the Pantheon in Rome... An incredible sensation with that big dome with the hole in the top of it. Until now, the most remarkable building for me..
And... I think the first time I was concius of what "travel" means was in Paris, when I was 11 years old and I saw the Mona Lisa in person in the Louvre Museum... I could not believe I could be staring just in front of the real Mona Lisa...!
