They would say I am a fabulous friend - warm, kind, compassionate and very patient. They would also say I do not nag or probe unnecessarily and have the ability to offer unconditional, non-judgemental support.

Interests

I am interested in far too many things. As a journalist obviously anything newsworthy or out-of-ordinary attracts me. A beautiful piece of writing, a gorgeous woman, an interesting bit of conversation I overhear in a crowded bus or metro (okay, call it eavesdropping!) - all grab my attention. I love reading, watching television and movies and of course trying out different cuisines - anything that spells f-o-o-d stops me right on my tracks!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) The first time I saw Burj Khalifa - it's a manmade wonder. Hats off the skill of the engineers, architects and planners. Some people call it excess, I appreciate the vision of the man who created it.
2) The moment I stepped out of the plane in Bhutan on an airstrip surrounded by the Himalayan mountain range - it was a sight that humbled me and made me bow before nature.
3) When I went snorkelling in Malaysia despite not knowing how to swim - the beauty of the underwater world left me speechless to say the least.
4) The first time I sat in the local train in Mumbai - it beats all other experiences.
