About Me

To show others that the world is an absolutely wonderful place, full of great people!

Married for 40+ years, 3 grown kids. Have hosted many high school foreign exchange students; 21 years military (retired),mostly Army Reserves, (Vietnam and Gulf War veteran) Worked 10 years in a factory; was self-employed for 8+ years; and worked for a major corporation. Open, exploring, lots of energy, healthy, liberal - am a Unitarian Universalist! Great family, too few friends in the U.S.
As of 30 September 2015 - we currently have our daughter-in-law, and granddaughter staying with us, for a few weeks.

You go through life once - this isn't a dress rehersal!
I was created to do more than take care of myself and my family!I want to make this world a better place than I found it! Think of retirement (someday) as being life like the TV series "Golden Girls" - independent, but with others. I believe ANTHING is possible if one is willing to do what it takes!! Maybe live in U.S. for 6 months each year, and somewhere else for 6 months. Would like to swap houses with others, someday!
